Our Story
Where scientific rigor meets community impact — bridging philanthropic vision and actionable research.
Cervello Research is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to bridge the gap between philanthropic vision and actionable community health research. Originally focused on brain-health research, Cervello is expanding its mission to include the health outcomes of violence survivors, trauma patients, and the underserved communities that care for them.
We believe that rigorous, ethical research — paired with the right technology infrastructure — can transform how community-based organizations demonstrate their impact and attract the funding they deserve.
All Cervello studies operate under IRB (Institutional Review Board) oversight. Participant protection, informed consent, and data privacy are non-negotiable.
Research findings are published in peer-reviewed journals and made available to the broader community. We believe publicly funded knowledge should be publicly shared.
Rigorous, unbiased methodology is our standard. We don't publish what funders want to hear — we publish what the data shows.
Cervello's research portfolio spans several interconnected domains, unified by a commitment to improving outcomes for underserved populations.
Cervello Research partners with QuesGen Systems, Inc. for technology infrastructure and study execution. QuesGen's flagship platform, QGCase, is purpose-built for clinical and community case management — and already trusted by programs at Temple University Hospital, CHOP, and UMMS Shock Trauma.
